Race-A-Rama Kicks Off 2019 Hagerstown Speedway Season
Many race fans have had the chance to get their dirt track racing fix during the winter either by watching pay-per-view races or have had the good fortune to travel to such events, along with the local trade shows. Now, it’s time to get ready for our 72nd season of racing at Hagerstown Speedway in 2019.
Kicking off the season is the traditional Race-A-Rama car show at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, Maryland on February 24 through March 3. There is a link to the form needed for those wishing to have their racers on display. Please contact the speedway office for more information.
Test & Tune practice dates will be on March 2, 9, and 16 (weather permitting), along with the Community Yard Sale & Swap Meet. The yard sale is from 8am-2pm, and track testing begins at 2pm on each day. Grandstand admission is free for the test & tune days.
Then, we will be set for the season opener on March 23 with the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series going for $3,000 to-win ,and an automatic qualifier for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event on April 13. Pure Stocks and U-Cars join the UNSLMS for the season opener.
Racers can get a head start on paper work by filling out the 1099 form, located under rules link.
For members of the media, press, and photographers- there is also a link for a media credential agreement form. Please have them turned into to either the speedway office or to PR director Brett Rose at finishline304@gmail.com , preferably by March 1, but no later than March 20 if you are planning to cover the season opener.
