Opening in 1947, Hagerstown Speedway is the oldest operating dirt track in Maryland. As a true 1/2 mile oval, the racing surface is made of the finest red clay in the nation. The smooth, wide surface makes Hagerstown Speedway one of the fastest and safest dirt tracks in the United States on which to race. We host weekly racing events March-September

TAKE I-70 WEST TO EXIT #24. TURN RIGHT ONTO ROUTE 63 NORTH FOR 2 MILES TO LIGHT AT HUYETTS CROSSROADS. TURN LEFT ONTO ROUTE 40 WEST. SPEEDWAY IS 2 MILES ON THE RIGHT.
FROM WEST (Cumberland)
TAKE I-70 EAST TO EXIT #18. TURN LEFT ONTO ROUTE 68 NORTH. IN HALF MILE TURN RIGHT ONTO ROUTE 40 EAST. SPEEDWAY IS 2 MILES ON LEFT, JUST PAST CONOCOCHEAGE CREEK BRIDGE.
FROM NORTH (Harrisburg)
I-81 SOUTH TO EXIT #6B, ROUTE 40 WEST. SPEEDWAY IS 4 MILES ON RIGHT.
FROM SOUTH (Winchester)
I-81 NORTH TO EXIT #6B, ROUTE 40 WEST. SPEEDWAY IS 4 MILES ON YOUR RIGHT.
CONCESSIONS
There are concession stands located behind the grandstands and in the pit area. Our concession stands offer foods such as hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, chicken and french fries. Specialty food trucks are located in the grandstand area during larger events. All concessions stands accept cash or cards.
BAG / COOLER POLICY
Bags and coolers are permitted to be taken in to grandstands and pit area. Coolers must be smaller than 14 inches when taken into the grandstands. No glass containers allowed on track property. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into grandstands or pit area. All bags and coolers are subject to inspection.
Alcohol is sold in grandstand area only!
LOST AND FOUND
Items that are lost or found in the grandstand or pit area should be reported or turned in at the speedway office. Items found during the racing program will be announced during the event via PA system. Hagerstown Speedway assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of others property.
CAMPING
Camping is free of charge except for Bonanza Extravaganza & Monster Truck weeks. See Track Property Map for designated Camping areas. All units must be self contained. There are no facilities, washrooms, dump stations or hookups available. No loud music or boisterous behavior after the races are over. We need to respect our neighbors. Possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages in all parking areas are subject to local laws. Hagerstown assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of others property.
RAIN CHECK POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, equipment failure or poor track conditions, any event will be halted. If the situation, in the opinion of track officials, is sufficient to cancel or postpone the remainder of an event, the event will not resume.
When an event is canceled or postponed, our website and social media pages will be immediately updated.
If all qualifying events (time trials, heats or consolation races) has been completed, rainchecks are VOID and will not be honored at future events. Any feature race not completed will be added to an upcoming event.
If all qualifying events (time trials, heats or consolation races) have NOT been completed, rainchecks will be valid and honored at a future event.
Any valid raincheck will be good for the $dollar amount purchased and may be used for entry to another event 18 months to 2 years depending on the event postponed or canceled. There will be no cash refunds in any case.
