Late Model Sportsman Headline Hub City 100, PS & HS on the Card
HAGERSTOWN, MD – Following up a tremendous 73rd-season opener last weekend, racing returns to Hagerstown Speedway this weekend on Saturday night, June 6 with the Hub City 100.
The Late Model Sportsman division will debut for the 2020 season with one of the biggest races of the year for the division as those drivers will battle it out in a 50 lap, $2,000 to win main event sure to bring in the area’s best 358 cubic inch steel block powered racers.
More laps and money are also up for grabs for the Pure Stock and Hobby Stock divisions with each feature event going a distance of 25 laps and $500 to win.
Each division of competition is open to cars compliant with Hagerstown Speedway rules.
Last week’s winners Joey Zambotti (PS) and Brady Daniels (HS) each earned guaranteed starting spots in the Hub City 100.
Due to social distancing and gathering guidelines, for this event and the time being until further announcements are made, EVERYONE attending will be considered an event participant.
Racers and crew members participating will be permitted to enter the track restricted area on the inside pit, while all other supporters will be permitted outside the pit area. Insurance admission for the outside area is $15, and competitors/crew for the inside pit is $30.
All persons attending will be required to sign a release waiver.
Track concession stands will be open with social distancing guidelines of maintaining a distance of at least six feet apart. Wearing masks is encouraged, but only required when communicating outside of your family group.
Gates open at 4:30pm with racing starting at 7:00pm.
