Hagerstown Speedway COVID-19 Guidelines Update

As of June 25, 2020, officials from the Washington County Health Department have been in contact with the management of Hagerstown Speedway monitoring the guidelines set forth by local government agencies and state directives authorized and issued by the Maryland Secretary of Health.

Hagerstown Speedway has been taking all precautions and protocol necessary to provide the safest possible experience by following the guidelines of social distancing (at least 6 feet or more apart), providing hand sanitizing stations, and the highly recommended use of PPE (personal protective equipment) to prevent and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Due to filed complaints and social media posts about the lack of or not enough social distancing, Hagerstown Speedway has been asked by the Washington County Health Department to reduce the number of participants per race team on the inside pit area, and limiting the number of participants sitting in the outside area.

Social distancing concerns are being addressed accordingly as additional measures will be in place effective immediately and going forward. The guidelines of social distancing are a requirement and not a recommendation.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with Hagerstown Speedway as we will continue to operate under the guidelines of Washington County to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
