LMS Dual Features, FASTRAK CLM Highlight Next Event

Coming up this Saturday for the final event in June on the 27th will be the Late Model Sportsman Dual Features, plus a $1,000 to win shootout.

The LMS field for each feature will be split in half by pill draw. There will not be qualifying heat races. The top 3 cars from each 15 lap feature event will return for a special six car, 8 lap shootout for $1,000 to the winner.

FASTRAK Crate Late Models return after their season debut last week, plus the Pure Stock and Hobby Stock divisions round out the card.

Please continue to follow social distancing and mask guidelines for this event. Track concession stands will be open with social distancing guidelines of maintaining a distance of at least six feet apart. Wearing masks is encouraged, but only required when communicating outside of your family group.

Racers and crew members participating will be permitted to enter either inside the tracks restricted area or outside the track pit area, grandstand and concession area. Insurance admission for the outside area is $15, and  inside pit is $30.

Gates open at 4:30pm with racing starting at 7:00pm.

MAM Season Opener, LMS, and PS & HS Split Feature Night up Next  

HAGERSTOWN, MD – As many other tracks and series went through delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Mid Atlantic Modifieds suffered the same fate.

Now, it’s their turn to make the series debut for 2020 as the MAM will have their season opener this weekend at Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday, June 13.

Joining the MAM will be the Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stock, and Hobby Stock divisions.

Both the PS and HS will race in a split feature format. The lineup sheet created from the qualifying heat races will be broken in half from top to bottom. The top half of the qualified field will compete in a separate feature from the bottom qualified half. Each division will have two different feature winners.

It is sure to be an exciting night of action at Hagerstown Speedway!

Continue to follow social distancing and mask guidelines for this event. General admission is $15 and pit insurance is $30.

Late Model Sportsman Headline Hub City 100, PS & HS on the Card

HAGERSTOWN, MD – Following up a tremendous 73rd-season opener last weekend, racing returns to Hagerstown Speedway this weekend on Saturday night, June 6 with the Hub City 100.

The Late Model Sportsman division will debut for the 2020 season with one of the biggest races of the year for the division as those drivers will battle it out in a 50 lap, $2,000 to win main event sure to bring in the area’s best 358 cubic inch steel block powered racers.

More laps and money are also up for grabs for the Pure Stock and Hobby Stock divisions with each feature event going a distance of 25 laps and $500 to win.

Each division of competition is open to cars compliant with Hagerstown Speedway rules.

Last week’s winners Joey Zambotti (PS) and Brady Daniels (HS) each earned guaranteed starting spots in the Hub City 100.

Due to social distancing and gathering guidelines, for this event and the time being until further announcements are made, EVERYONE attending will be considered an event participant.

Racers and crew members participating will be permitted to enter the track restricted area on the inside pit, while all other supporters will be permitted outside the pit area. Insurance admission for the outside area is $15, and competitors/crew for the inside pit is $30.

All persons attending will be required to sign a release waiver.

Hagerstown Speedway Season Opener set for this Saturday

HAGERSTOWN, MD –  It’s been a longtime waiting for racing in the Hub City due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has caused interruptions across the world to daily living, and brought sporting events along with social gatherings to a halt.

It’s been a two month long wait. The wait is finally over.

Coming up this Saturday, May 30, Hagerstown Speedway will finally open the doors to the 73rd season opener with Super Late Models, Pure Stocks, and Hobby Stocks.

The 25 lap Super Late Model feature pays $2,000 to win, while the Pure Stock and Hobby Stock winners will earn a guaranteed start in the Hub City 100 on June 6.  Both stock classes will run under the small car national rules opening day.  Visit the website for details www.hagerstownspeedway.com

Tune and Test May 23rd approved but NO SPECTATORS

Good news.. Hagerstown Speedway will reopen this Saturday! However due to Maryland state mandates, the event for Saturday, May 23rd has been changed to an open practice event.

We recommend that everyone reads and understands the following guidelines:

NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT.  NO CONGREGATING OUTSIDE YOUR PIT AREA NO EXCEPTIONS

Strict social distancing policies are in place and no groups larger than 10 family/crew members per race team.  All members must be together in/on the car hauler at time of entrance and stay in/on haulers at time of registration.  NO WALK THRU PERMITTED. Please plan accordingly.   Thank you for co operating with these changes.

Face masks and social distancing requirements are to be followed.

No food or drink will be sold at the track. Please plan accordingly.

If you are ill or at risk, we ask that you stay home.

You must stay in your designated pit area. You are not permitted to leave your designated pit area for social gathering.

Portable Restrooms are available with Hand Sanitizer.  Wear Mask outside your pit area when using the units and keep 6 feet away from others.

Announcements will be made via FM transmitter 89.9FM

These requirements must be followed in order for us to reopen. We want to get back to racing just as much as you do.

MONSTER JAM 2020 CANCELED

Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 and expanding restrictions on domestic and international travel, and in accordance with national, state and local governments prohibiting large group gatherings, the Monster Jam event scheduled July 24-26 at Hagerstown Speedway, has been cancelled.
